The PMAG (Piezo Memory Acquisition Gauge) is the first of a suite of products to be launched by OTT Well Data. This next generation automated memory gauge has been designed as a drop-in replacement to existing memory gauges.
The PMAG records downhole reservoir pressure and temperature. This data can be used to monitor the reservoirs performance or its reaction to events such as stimulation.
Running the PMAG requires minimal input. Designed as a drop-in replacement, simply mount the Gauge in the usual manner. There is no need for any user intervention as activation occurs when well pressure or temperature exceeds set thresholds. Recording of both pressure, and temperature will continue until they both drop below set thresholds. Downloading the recorded data is via a simple Windows based user interface.
